Entrepreneurship Nevada (EN) is an association of individuals, companies and organizations who work
with Northern Nevada's entrepreneurs and small businesses. EN's mission is to provide its members
with a forum to share information and resources, and to encourage communication,
collaboration, and education among its members.
EN is unique in Northern Nevada's entrepreneurial community because it doesn't work directly with
entrepreneurs or small businesses, but instead supports the individuals and Entrepreneurial Support
Organizations (ESOs) in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors who do. It is the neutral organization that
encourages communication to reduce or eliminate silos often found in quickly growing ecosystems like
we have in Reno.
EN's monthly one-hour meetings are a great way for members and attendees to learn what's going on in
Northern Nevada's small-business and entrepreneurial community. With key players invited to present
as a Guest Speaker most months, attendees learn important information about resources available in
our ecosystem. EN's meetings are typically attended by 30 to 40 people representing nonprofits,
governmental agencies, educational institutions, professional firms, and many others. A typical meeting
might include representatives of Buy Nevada First, The Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce, SCORE,
EDAWN, Entrepreneurs Assembly, and NCET, while the private sector might be represented by
Fennemore Craig, PC, MassMutual Financial Group, and Sage International.
EN's website, www.enevada.org, serves as a portal to the wealth of information available from its
members, and includes directories for mentoring programs, business assistance and education, funding
sources, and much more. One of the website's most popular features is the "Entrepreneurial Events
Calendar," which highlights many of the events available to help our local entrepreneurs and small
businesses. We hope that you’ll make enevada.org your go-to resource for entrepreneurial information.
EN meets on the second Thursday of each month from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Innevation Center powered by
SWITCH. Meetings are open to everyone who works with entrepreneurs and small businesses. Drop-ins
are welcome, and no RSVPs are needed.
